Hello, i just installed LEDBlinky 8_2_2_0. Everything is working fine after the wizard setup. I purchased LEDBlinky and was sent 2 files to put in the ledblinky root directory. I copied both files over and when i launch Attract mode i get a notice still saying trial mode?? Am i doing something wrong?  I also got an error when exiting ledblinky saying   "[09/14/2024 21:31:27] Unable to set SAPI parameters. OLE error 80045039". I have no idea what that means. Does anyone have an idea of what my problem could be?

This is a month old so maybe its resolved already. But just wanted to add since I am going through a similar situation right now. The first time you start LEDBlinky after you get the files from the paid version, you need to be online so the program can call home as it were. That would resolve the trial issues.

I just downloaded from the link in your OP. Did you not upload the newest version? I'm not seeing the new modules.

edit: Found the link in the description of the youtube video

The schematic suggests that the outputs need to be pulled low externally.  Whatever you are connecting to it, may not be doing this, or doing it in such a way that the waveform isn't readable by that device.  That's my thought anyway.

Thanks!

It is impressive that you have only spent that much to be able to build such a cool machine.

I would think that for group float activity ballooning would be far more fun than dangling from a parachute with somebody..

Whoa-
Awesome work as usual.
So...
How many hours you think you got into that one?!

I didn't clock it, but I guesstimate about 20 hours went into the patterns and about 30 - 50 into the rest. Those small pieces eat up time like crazy.

I have to admit that I have never watched the whole film but love the story and legacy of it all.

It's a solid film, a bit dated now, but watchable.  The crazy thing for me is, that this film, released in 1954, in black and white, was 3D in the theaters. 3D. 1954. In black & white. Like always, the 3D trend didn't last, so most people only saw the 2D version.

Looks like there are two person versions of those powered parachutes to be had for $50k.
Could be really fun in the right place/time.

😲

50k USD is probably about what I've spent on a real airplane. Seems to me theyve missed the point of what a powered parachute should be about

Hi everyone,

I managed to get my hands on a "NBC on NBC" cabinet. The HDD is definitely dying, since it sometimes spins and boots up, while sometimes it does not at all. The hard drive is a revision 2.0E.

I have experience creating CF drives, so I gave it a go, but unfortunately without success, since the only CHD I was able to find is a version 2.0, which is not accepted by the security chip I guess (halts on loading screen at some point).

Any suggestions? I'm in Europe, so it's a bit harder to get my hands on new security chip, that's why I'm trying to find the REV 2.0E CHD.

Thanks,
Martin

So family and household circumstances are meaning I don't really have room for my OND cab any more...

I'm thinking of stripping it apart and keeping the control panel and internals, but wondered if anyone has thoughts on the value and or desirability on the shell (it's actually had a coin door added since the pic too)

I'm super reluctant to do this of course, so hoping we can find a way to make it work somehow, it was a labor of love, but we just don't really have the room
