Anyone need a skilled VB/NET/Hardware/GIS/Office developer?
drventure:
Yep, that's right. Just found out my company is no more. It's an Ex company, deceased, expired, kicked the bucket.
I might get an offer to move to the purchasing company. Will find out over the weekend.
Time to polish up the ol' resume.
If anyone has any leads, I'd very much appreciate hearing about them. I'm based in the Dallas Ft Worth area, but I've telecommuted extensively for years so I know how to be self sufficient in the IT arena :)
Guess I now have more time to work on my Mala Plugin :-\
ChadTower:
Bummer. :( Been there, it sucks, best of luck landing a new spot quickly.
drventure:
Thanks Chad.
Something will pop. I'm not too worried at this point, anyways :)
lokki:
Though break....
Hope you land on your feet soon
Which GIS?
shmokes:
It's a Geographic Information System. A somewhat oversimplified way of describing it is that it's when you have maps with data associated with locations on the map. For example the maps in your GPS system have points of interest layers superimposed on the main map. Or a city government will have a map in which they can toggle various things on and off, like they can select a section of the city's sewer system and any house connected to that section will be shaded a particular color. Things like that.
