EDID Dongle... what is it and where can I get one?

That was pretty much my line of thinking as well, I didnt want to be limited to 15khz. By the way, im on vista 64 if that makes any difference. The arcadevga's are just regular ati cards bios flashed with firmware to force them into 15khz signals right?

Well, Vista basically is the same sh!t as Seven, as both use the very same nvidia drivers.
In that case your better of with any Radeon based card, or an ArcadeVGA.
And yes, AVGA are just Radeon with special bios and drivers.

My only question is if I end up needing a EDID dongle, where would I get one?
