Cyberball dual screen
« on: September 23, 2009, 05:34:26 pm »
Is there a way to run the dual screens for Cyberball on mame?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

You can also just turn off the 2nd screen if you don't want the stacked appearance on a single monitor. My solution though was to buy an actual 4 player cyberball cab. :D

you may have to hit tab and look at the video options once you launch the game. thats how i get 2 monitors workign on xmen.

you may want to do it in the game's .ini file instead of mame.ini  if you do it in mame.ini, it will enable 2 monitors for all games.  if you put that in that game's ini file, it should do it just for that game.

severdhed - Are you using a dual output video card ? Or what would the hardware options be for dual monitors ?
Like in your X-Men example, not just duplicate images.

yeah, this is on my desktop PC, i have a cheap dual output card in it, connected to two 17" CRT monitors (i'm hoping they die before too long so i can justify the purchase of two 22" LCDs)

once i enabled that, it worked just fine.  i think i had to hit tab and go to video options and enable it...but i could be wrong.  i can't go upstairs and test it now because we just put the kids to bed and if i go up there too soon, they will hear me and start crying

I love that little mirror they put just under the marquee, so you could give your opponents the evil eye.  ;)

I just had a brain fart. I have a dual screen nintendo cabinet. What's stopping me from slapping 2 lcd's, then slapping a computer in it. Will that work?
