Says it's finished in calfskin. That's just odd.

says 1080p lcd screen, but looks 4:3 and BIG.
I suppose it could just be a 19-20" made to look big in the pics.
Seems odd.

Maybe 2000 max.  I do not even like the design.

Way too expensive!   You can build something like that for 1/10th that price.

Sure but they probably want to make a profit.   Maybe even a really big profit.   :laugh2: :laugh2:

See it works like this... you build one in Month 1, sell it in month 2, vacation in month 3, then repeat. All you need is 4 suckers a year and you have it made.

What an absolutely outrageous price! A fancy cabinet with a 60-in-1 board is not worth that.... and I don't even like the design. I don't care what it's covered in... it would have to be gold plated to be worth that price tag.

At least it makes me feel better when I think of what I've spent on projects over the last few years, 'cos even though I think I over spend the total isn't  a 10th of what that thing costs.

From a technical perspective, its done nicely, and is easily replicated for much less. Except for 1 difference. CALFSKIN. The exterior is appointed like a leather steamer trunk. Pinel & Pinel is something you buy to say F%#$% You, Im rich, bitches! They are like Hermes or L. Vuitton. I would challenge anyone here to duplicate the quality with which the exterior of these are finished...no small feat. Not saying I particularly like it, but I see 60 in 1 cabs that look like they were painted with a wad of toilet paper for a brush getting $2500-$300 bucks on CL. I like that someone is raising the bar, for the sake of the hobby.

My words exactly!

I love it, but the control panel is too slanted and the price is really really steep. It can be replicated easily but the quality will not be the same i'm sure...  :dizzy:

If they made new vector monitors they would be raising the bar for the sake of the hobby.
What they've done here is create a crummy looking cab covered with skin and based on a bootleg board.  :dunno

Well thank god for Dave @ ram controls, he's on the ampliphones already... I was trying to say that its a high-profile, high visibility project. It generates awareness, and interest, and because most people can never afford this beast, their purchasing options will trend downwards, to what they CAN afford; exactly where many jobbers and bona-fide vendors operate. From a moral perspective, if they are selling bootlegs, what is the difference between P&P selling a bootleg board, and anyone else? Are you suggesting that these boards are not being sold in high numbers anyway, elsewhere? C'mon...

I had to edit this; Where do you determine that the board they are using is a boot? They clearly reference copyright to Namco, Midway, TAITO, and Capcom on the product page? Do you really think a company this big would be that brazen?

WTF is wrong with you morons? You're not paying for the cab covered in calf skin. You're paying for an iPod/iPhone dock covered in calf skin. The arcade portion is just an accessory.

Asking, or actually fetching?

Depends on the area you're talking about.
