I would get it powder coated, it will be a much stronger and better looking finish than either vinyl or rubber. As its only small it shouldnt cost that much, maybe around the £20.00 mark.

saleem:
i think i sourced some vinyl out, speaker vinyl:
http://cpc.farnell.com/1/1/31258-speaker-cabinet-vinyl-l099mt.html

not 100% sure though,i will keep looking though.

i removed the t-molding as i ordered 40ft worth from t-molding.com

i labled the wiring so i knew what was what,i also changed the quick disconnects as the old ones that were there dont fit the new microswitchs i got here.

so now i decided i am going to change not just the joysticks but, looks like i am gonna change the buttons also has they are just cheapo ones.

i will keep the cp 3 button layout, not bothered for 6 buttons.
 :)

That is cloth vinyl you have linked to.
Speak to Andy at Gremlin Solutions, he will be able to get you the correct control panel material.

saleem:
small update.

i fitted wheels to the base i made and painted it matt black like the original.it is now fitted and the cab can be leant back and wheeled around now.

things left to do.

t-molding,waiting arrival from t-molding.

cp overlay,i realy want the good vinyl for this, like the stuff happ sell.if you have some or know where to get it especialy if your in the uk contact me.i will buy some.even if your a vendor, let me know.

fit 2 joysticks and 3 buttons each for the controls, cant fit due to not having the cp overlay.

i cleaned the glass,it can be refitted when the cp is sorted and fitted,it will hold the glass in posistion, then i need to get some artwork for the marquee and bezel.

general cleaning of outside of cab.

then its a case of a multigame jamma board or turn the monitor horizontaly and run side arms, which i happen to like LOTS!
:)
