They are the 10 Button USB Model.   Watch out though.  On one of mine the heat seal on the package was so hot that the black tie around the  cable was actually melted into the cable.  Was replaced right away by LD.

Good deal Ehhh!

Those are bad pads to hack. The directionals ghost once you hack them. I wasted several of them before I figured that out.

That isn't just my experience either. I read somewhere (this board maybe, a long time ago), that someone apparently emailed them about it, and it is a known issue with those pads. They work fine as pads, but once you wire up those directionals with wires and microswitches they get wacky on you.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Same thing happened to me when I tried to hack one of these about a year ago.  I just thought I messed something up, but after going over the wiring again & again, I couldn't get rid of the goofy directionals...

Hmm...
Perhaps this has been fixed.
I have one hacked to one of my mame sticks right now & haven't experienced any problems yet.
I was actually planning on building another stick with my spare GPP.
I guess time will tell.
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers what the universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
