Nice job so far!

Honzo:
Good news. New CPO came in today and it looks great.  Long weekend of work though so update on Monday most likely with pictures of the control panel build.

Honzo:
No real pics to post yet, just prep painting the control panel for overlay and some internal junk.. but I did come across some decent old computer speakers around my house and gutted them for the cabinet and everything worked out pretty nicely.  In practice though, something is not right and I can't seem to figure it out... They're both mounted at the original speaker hole since they're only about 1"x2" a piece so it's hard to tell which speaker sound is coming from if thats the issue, but it sounds as though i'm missing some audio somewhere. I ran the speaker test that visibly shows which speaker is being used and on both tests, both speakers are working properly.  When I run the emulator though, I'm missing some sound effects, basically the effect you get when you're outputting stereo sound and you either have a mono speaker plugged in or a set of speakers half plugged in.  One sound effect in particular, if it helps diagnose this, is the coin sound on the simpsons, which sounds just fine when the original speaker is plugged directly into the sound card.  Any ideas?

Honzo:
Well this is an interesting find... With the audio faded all the way on either side, it sounds fine... Any ideas?

Honzo:
Damn! I got a lot accomplished on the control panel today... lets see...
-finally attached hinge
-attached latches
-applied cpo
-cut holes in cpo
-layed t-molding
-layed plexi
-installed trackball, joys, and start buttons

just gotta order all the buttons and wire it up and she'll be in playing shape!

still yet to do otherwise:
-some computer work to remove windows screens
-finish marquee design and have printed
-install more games
-play till my hands fall off
