To watch Steve Weibe try to take the DK world record on G4?
Hopefully, they just cut the crap and show it. That Munn chick and her sidekicks were pretty bad today. A fat balding dude with 3 chins was goofing on Billy Mitchell. I'm no big fan of his, but c'mon.

Yea, I'm taping it too. They just said "all day" for the record attempt though, so I'm thinking my DVR wouldn't get everything I wanted to see.

It sucks that there is virtually no information about the broadcast. I'm starting to think they are going to show like 5-10 seconds of it per hour just to keep people on that channel.

I have G4 on in the background, but they are streaming the whole DK event on the web. Its linked from the G4TV.com site. He's on his first game now at about 530,000 points but is on his last guy.

I was sort of surprised he didn't bag the game since he has a set amount of time to play. Maybe G4 doesn't want him doing that.

Wish they had him mic'd a little better. He's actually talking a lot, but you can really only hear the game. His comments are muffled... He's still on first game now, 652,000 points.

Attempt #3 and power has failed at about 200 000 points. All the streaming video screens are now static but the audio is still going and we're hearing people talk about trying to find the problem. ...Also, the audience appears to think that Billy Mitchel has power breaking voodoo powers.

Each extra guy is just on screen for a couple seconds and dies once you're there.

why on earth didn't he die on the last level of 21 and use that board to get more points?
You don't need to get to the kill screen to get the world record score

I just don't understand
I'm so confused, he could have gotten around at least another 10,000 points, probably enough to turn over the scoreboard at least

I absolutely can't stand that ---smurfy--- G4 channel. I had to watch endless video game promotion/game producer ass kissing with barely 3 seconds of coverage of Wiebe. There was a Viagra type commercial going while he was on the kill screen LOL WTF. Even their crappy web feed hung up and lagged out.

They were streaming his attempts non-stop on their website if you had wanted to actually watch it. Streaming a shot of both him playing and a camera focused in on the monitor so you could see what he was doing.

Yes, but toward the end it was extremely laggy, sound was disabled, and it hung up completely at the last two levels for me. I missed the end totally. It wasn't just me too (the comments were still going with many others complaining about the lag).

Ah, thanks fellas...... I thought he just blew it or something.
Either way, still upset now that I know I missed the kill screen. (just wanted to see it happen once)

I have been taking peeks online off and on all day and the web feed has been kinda crappy.
Especially towards the end of this round. Like mentioned, laggy, no sound, etc.
I was getting a tad frustrated at the image quality of it as well, the majority of the time it was hard to even read the score.
