Flake:

Too bad the weather sucks :badmood:

BTW - I hear its going to be beautiful this weekend.....especially on Sat...... ;D

Seriously though the last few summers around here have not been very kind to boat and pool owners.  Makes one rethink chunking down the kind of cash to buy either one when you can only use the damn thing for 8-10 weekends tops.  I say this but of course when the time comes for me I'll be scouring the earth for my first boat.

LLUncoolJ:

I had a boat the last 3 years and there were plenty of good weekends. It was just weird that it was 95-100 in June and the 4th of July weekend was like 62. It rains in this part of the world in May, fact of life. Can you ever remember a Memorial day weekend that ti didn't rain...significantly? I rember like one in the past 15 years.

Yeah, I'm planning on hitting it hard sunday. It will still be sloppy on saturday, so other than moving in material, there isn't a lot I can do. Let's be serious, once it dries out and I work a couple of days shoveling rock, I'll be complaining about that...it's what I do.

My bar wont be anything like the type you guys have.....made of freaking granite, stone, wood, stem cells & etc fine materials. Nope, this will just have some simple paintings mounted, a shelf for bottles & a kegerator where the fridge was. There are cabinets, formica & a crappy sink along with a place for 2-3 chairs.

I am going for the summit kegerator because it seems to be a good middle-groud from commercial units & some of the other residential units with bad reviews. I read about the cooling tower mod so thats prob something I will end up doing, well mos def actually if I get foam.

Yeah flake for sure any links you have would be welcome information

here is my humble bar right now, its a mess

Flake:

To be accurate PBW, my bar is actually a perfect reproduction of the 3 stars in the constellation Orion's belt.

So now the question remains, did I whip and starve tens of thousands of slaves to construct my "ode to the heavens" or did aliens descend down upon me to provide the necessary advanced technology to construct it?

We'll probably never know until some 1,000 years from now when Indiana Jones great, great, great, great, great, great......grandson digs it up from the sands.   :D

LLUncoolJ:

The most expensive part of a bar is stocking it.
