Did ya wind up going? Wife made plans or I might have gone. F'ing rain has me screwed...what is it, 8 straight days now? Didn't realize I moved to Seattle. Now I know why they kill themselves like it's the national pastime. Anyway, my mudhole is an even juicier mudhole now.

No I didnt go, started working on my bar instead.
Pulling the trigger on a Summit kegerator here pretty soon. Took down my crappy shelves & mirror, moved the fridge into a storage area & began mudwork/repair from all the stuff I took down.
I even took off Friday to paint it, well that & get drunk >:D

A bar is a fun project. Cool thing is you can go as simple or elaborate as you want. Wife is barking about an outside bar/cabana. Not in the cards I'm afraid. Especially considering you can walk through the basement door, turn left, walk 10 feet, and there is a bar.
Flake:
Don't be a p***y and scale back on the island oasis now. Build that cabana. Doesn't have to be super elaborate just a straight bar with 3-4 stools that can house a fridge and margheritta mixer.
PBW - did you go with the summit due to noise concerns? From what I read on them you might have to do a tower fan mod to reduce the foaming. There is a guy who sells them on eBay or you make your own. I did alot of research before I bought mine. If you need a link/reference let me know.

Sure, I build her a cabana, then she wants a cabana boy. Where does it stop? However, if you wish to donate to the cabana fund, I'm sure we can find a good use for your money.
They finally finished my fence yesterday, so I guess we're good and legal now.
