Just found some joysticks in my Bin.......
« on: March 27, 2009, 06:00:41 pm »
Ok, simply put...my MAME cab runs an IPAC and an Opti-Pac I believe....to control the spinner (I have one).  I dont have any trackball in my CP...

But in cleaning out a parts bin I found 2 Happs Spinner Joysticks with the optical disc underneath!

I remember I originally bought these to make a Cab that could do the spinner games like Time Warriors, Ikari Warriors....etc.

But I never got around to it.

Tell me, is there an easy way to interface these sticks (I believe they have a 3 or 4 wire adapter coming off of them) with my Opti-Pac??  They behave, I guess, just like adding
2 more spinners to my Cab....

Anyone Know?

here, this is the one I am referring to...I've got 2 of em.  (the lower one, the optical disc one).

I just had a look and found [this] thread and it looks like you can hook them up to an Optipac.

If you email or PM Andy at Ultimarc I'm sure he would be able to help you further if you need it.
