brentshelton:
What are you using on the outside over the gap where the speaker panel meets the monitor glass?  Looks like a 90 degree peice of plastic.  I am trying to find something similar.

Thanks

blind_dado:
There is no gap where the monitor glass meets the speaker panel.  Take a look at the diagrams above.  There is a sliding piece of wood behind the glass that pushes the glass snug up against the speaker panel.  I also posted this Google Sketchup version on the main board:

Does that clear things up?  Which picture are you looking at that makes you think there is a 90 degree piece of plastic?

javeryh:
So how much was the monitor and where did you get it?  What resolutions does it support?

blind_dado:
The monitor is from Nieman Displays in Canada.  It supports VGA, SVGA and XGA.  It costs $450, but shipping to Chicago was another $150(!).  Here is a link:

Namco:
So all your angled cuts are 45 degree cuts done with the router? No 30 or 60 degree cuts in there anywhere? I would've thought that some of the angles for the back panels would be tricky with just a 45 degree router bit.
