Why not? The hole for the U360 is very tight and the plexi over it make it not moving. The glue is just to make sure it stays in place. What's wrong?

The glue will fail. As long as you didn't use too much, you can try it like this now and later if it becomes a problem - you can figure up something else. I don't top mount my joysticks just because when I need to replace them or work on them, it's too much work.
Your work looks good. Keep it up.

You might be right. For the moment I have about 10 hours of play with the controller board... all look fine... maybe around 100 hours it will be less effective and it will fail but well... it's written it can handle 2000 pounds :P we will see in the future ;)

Here is some picture from the last 2 weeks.
The keyboard and mouse will be hidden here with a push door.
Here is the controller that will be removable if needed to move the arcade machine.

Trying to glue the T-Molding with Epoxy. I haven't use the router on the control board because the plexiglass was already there... my mistake!
This is how the monitor will be stand up.
