My first attempt at conversion..my RYGAR CAB
ZEN:
As a kid I unavoidedly jammed quarter after quarter of my hard earned paper-route money into the local Rygar machine. I have just bought a solid cabinet and am beginning the conversion. I have removed the old laminate and am working on the monitor shelf, screen angle and control panels before I re-laminate the cab.
I found some very cool 8x4 laminate sheets at the local HomeDepot, it is made by formica, and it is called "Microdot". It is black solid, with small geometric pinhold texture and it looks great, best of all it was only about $40/sheet. See link below.

I have recieved the original RYGAR marquee in great shape. I will be buying a reproduction bezel that is slightly smaller than original to fit the 22 1/2" CAB. Still working on getting the PCB, cant find one that is tested and working. I have a feeling the control panel portion will be as difficult as anything, as the original cab is a Perfect Billards cab that had plexi mounted controls. I will post pics soon, and then grovel for advice.........here's to the noob....

Welcome to the greatest and worst thing you will ever do with your time. :) Rygar.. one of my top 3 games ever. I have to think I pumped an easy $500 into that bugger of a game over the many years.

Welcome -- nice to see a Rygar fan.
Original boardsets seem to be few and far between. I would post a WTB on KLOV and see if anybody has one floating around.
Steve:
I think I have a spare Rygar board. I'll check, but I am located in Australia
