You might need them in other emus, but not mame.

I second that.
p3 and p4 looks weird if you dont have 6 buttons in there..just a thought..besides you might need em for console games later one(4p).
If I ever wanted to build 4 players panel then I WOULD add 6buttons for even p3 and P4.  :)
HeadRusch:
If you're gonna deal with Console Emulators, you'll need 8 or 10 buttons per player..so six isn't really helping you much.....

If you wanna run a playstation emulator, for example, you'll need 8 buttons per player....and you can assign others for start/select

Nes, Snes, and pretty much everything else has six buttons or less (remember, select and start can be coin and start). When most people say console they don't usually mean Playstation, you shouldn't be emulating that anyway, it is still in the store.

He's right. I actually have a playstation but I would probably think about putting a dreamcast in with the pc but I think i would have enough buttons with 6
JesterDEV:
What you have sounds good to me. I would just go with that, cause if you change it and dont like it you're gonna end up rebuilding one that you do like.

Just my 2 cents.  :)
