XBox 360 Fight Stick

This is a fight stick for the XBox 360 which I just made for a mate.



I hacked apart an XBox controller then re-soldered the connections to arcade buttons & a joystick.
Got lucky and didn't fry any parts or stuff anything major up.
I did have a good read through of Haruman's 360 Controller thread first, very helpful, it gave me the confidence to give it a shot.

The box is made from 16mm or 18mm MDF (don't remember which) and is nice and heavy so it doesn't slide around when playing. It also has rubber pads under it for extra grip.

The two buttons on the back are Start & Select.



The box should rarely need to be opened, but just in case, the top is hinged and held shut with a magnetic cabinet latch, it's surprisingly hard to open so won't ever open accidentally during play.



Then the top has some awesome Ryu artwork with plexiglass over the top of it. I didn't design the artwork though, found it off of DeviantArt I think.

Should be a killer way to play StreetFighter IV on the XBox!
