Sony Playstation Emulator Help
« on: September 12, 2008, 01:25:41 pm »
I just added this Emu to my Maximus Arcade front end..

PSX 1.13

Works great be itself....  when in MA, I cant launch games full screen...   Tried adding "-f" which does make the EMU go full screen, but now games dont auto load... If I remove the -f, games load but no full screen.

Anyone else having this issue with MA (latest beta) and this Emu?

Thanks

Greetings From The Lord Humongous!

Figured it out. Works like a champ now.   Command line fix.

Well, since not a single person helped me, I thought I would leave it general.... BUT.. I do believe in this forum and helping each other.......so, the answer is:

command line box:

-f %file

This resolved it... full screen and launch of the roms... works perfect now.   Before I could only get 1 to work.. (full screen, no game launch, or game launch, windowed).

You are all welcome.

and you are welcome on the correction as well. Ease up on the language, purposefully avoiding the censor will get you nowhere

No kidding...  and don't use * to defeat the autocensor, either.

Thanks for that. I figured it was that simple, but hadn't tried it. Now I can set this up with Mamewah!

And if ANY of us knew the answer, we'd have told you.

Agreed.

BYOAC is one of the most helpful forums when it comes to stuff like this.  Heck...when it comes to ANY topic, really (well, within reason).  Even with questions that have been answered a million times before, and with the answer in the FAQ, we're pretty easygoing here.

Believe me, if anyone knew the answer, someone would have posted it.

Lets not fight over piddly stuff...The next problem I'm working on is running ZINC Emu within MaximusArcade... This one has been a ---smurfette--- for many of us... just search the forums over there for Zinc... Lots of people getting black screens after a game is selected.

Can anyone help me with this problem???

Thanks

Whoa, whoa, whoa.....what?

Dude, you're telling the man who has over 30,000 posts to STFU?

The only person who even said a word to you was ME, just saying to follow up a question with an answer. It's helpful to others with the same problem (in this case, me).

You made a snide comment, and Chad replied in a justifiable manner.

Plus, you missed out on how the rest of this thread looked before it got HEAVILY edited. At least 12 posts disappeared.

It's getting harder and harder to stay motivated to help the newbies.  It's a shame, really, since the vast majority of them are good guys who are where we were a few years ago.  It only takes a few bad ones to make it tempting to give up on passing the knowledge, though.   :dizzy:

HA HA   LMAO

I love stirrin up a forum... LOL

ChadTower.. chill mate... Yer still a noob too.   Like I mentioned, lets chill.... I was just forking with you guys.

Next problem we need to address and resolve:  ZINC on MaximusArcade

Screen shots and EmuMovies work fine.. Game launch produced black screen for many people.

I'm still waiting for MameSeer to get off his dead ace and get a new beta out for us.   He takes months to release an update.. not sure whats up with this, but he did get paid by many for his current beta, and its good but needs bugs worked out.

Thanks Mameseer....  lots of us are waiting for you to stop drinking at night, and clubbing... and get a new Beta out.

LOL

30K posts for Chad Tower?  Wow... Chad, you must be devorced or something... you spend waaaaayy too much time on this puppy then.  Oh well, someone's always going to be the "mr. helper".

Thanks for getting along with us all now.  Peace out.

Remember... ZINC!!!  Lets get a fix for this.

Greetings From The Lord Humongous!

This is nothing. You should've seen how far this thread went before Hemi brought it (and himself) down.
