Good luck dude - I think I've decided to kind of MAME mine (running an old computer to play DK and a few other one button 4-way games).  How much was the board?  It seems like everything is super expensive when you add it all up.

The board was about $50 on ebay, that is including shipping.

The easiest thing to do would be to wire up an edge connector.  I'm sure you can find a harness @ Mike's Arcade.  I'm not even going to bother checking, they've got pretty much everything DK there.

Or you could make your own, but you're on your own getting wire for the harness.

Since I don't want to spend about $300 on original Sanyo monitor, I am considering converting the cabinet to Jamma wiring using a Donkey Kong to Jamma adapter.
