I have not been able yet to mess around with my new shaft. But i took a picture of a disasembled u360. |
| Luigi:
aha.....so how do you plan to get the magnet to the shaft with the wires coming out from the bottom?? ??? |
| Twin-X:
Making an insicion on the side of a few millimeters so the wires will come out sideways. But i have some other idea's too, i am not rushing and i want to see Franco's outcome on this. |
| Franco B:
Yeah thats what I did on somunnys shafts. I milled a 2mm slot into the e-clip groove. If you use small enough gauge wire they fit in the e-clip gap. Im going to redo somunnys shafts though if my solution works. I would rather him have them tangle free. Im ordering some parts as I speak for the jacks/plugs etc, I should hopefully have something in a week or two after the parts arrive. I love working on stuff like this so I really want to get cracking on it. Ill let you know when I have made some progress. |
| Twin-X:
Looking good Franco. Can't wait to see the outcome. For the tangle free option is that because you wish to add the rotary function to it? Too bad there does not exists a electric ice balltop. Now i probabbly have to replace all my buttons for translucent ones. |
