OK,

this is my new project I have undertaken, Marvel Arcade.

As a kid I always enjoyed watching cartoons like X-Men and Spider man. Even more so I loved reading the Marvel comics. However, I was deprived of games as a kid. The console was replaced for a book and education was a main priority. My only saving grace was the arcade. A young lads haven of gaming genius with awesome games such as Bubble Bobble, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and of course Marvel vs Capcom (I loved that game!).

I have attached some of the artwork I have been working on. It isn't completely finished but it is nearly there.

Let me know what you guys think!

This is the link to download the artwork (all in ai format):

Looks great! Very impressive!  8)

Have you got any plans/ideas for the cab itself? Size/shape/components etc?

CHEERS!

Yeah, I have some plans, but they need reworking. I have uploaded them but my CAD skills are non existant!

I am going with Magstick plus joysticks with ball tops, ultimarc buttons, a Happ 3" trackball illuminated in red courtesy of Divemaster and black admin buttons with a TT2 spinner in the centre (top). I also have some labels for them courtesy of Pongo.

The cab is going to be a variation of Knievel's Woody but with a few twists.

I am using a 19" AG Neovo F-Series LCD screen to keep the size a weight down.

PC is a Dell Optiplex GX270 with a few upgrades such as ram and graphics card to provide an edge.

Plan to have a one button start too so that it is easier to use.

Front end will be Maximus Arcade with custom skin.

Would you like me to put those dimensions in the PDF into AutoCAD to see what the actual profile looks like?
