abzman2000:
yay, I finally got a machine to play with off of craigslist, first I would appreciate it if someone could identify it's origin, I don't think it's always been a battletoads.  some water damage has been painted over and of all things a blacklight installed.  have a look, I'm in the planning phase right now so any suggestions on where to go from here is helpful.  I have big plans for this cabinet and they will be revealed as my options become clear to me.

NinjaEpisode:
Ha!  That was on detroit's craiglist yes?

You beat me to it.  I never heard back from the guy on Saturday, but he said he had someone else interested and I would be next up if that person didn't come through.

Now that I see it though, you've got your work cut out for ya.

Don't know what cab it is though. :dunno

Nice score for the price though.

Hard to tell what this was from the pics. Looks like an early 90's Midway style cab to me (NBA Jams, Killer Instinct, Hang Time, Wrestlemania, etc). Was the original CP the box type that sat on top or does it look like it was the same width as the cabinet. I'll keep looking thru KLOV for some look-a-likes for ya

abzman2000:
you got me.  when I answered him he said someone else was already considering it, but "first come-first serve" so I picked it up at around 8 that night.

abzman2000:
the t-molding lines go all the way down the sides, and I assume the holes were cut to route wires so I'd say the original cp had to be no larger than the sides.
