Golden Tee PC/Mame question

IIOIOOIOO:
I've seen a few notes about breaking off every other tine on the wheel to solve backspin problems...
SirPoonga:
hmmm, I have a 3" tball too, but I also play it with a mouse.  I get no backspin.  That's odd.
HeadRusch:
I took someones advice and downloaded the demo for PGA Tour 2000.....its got somethign called "Trueswing" which is pretty much golden tee.

Only you don't need to slam the ball.....with a mouse, or a trackball, a quick wrist flick back and forward is good enough.....so you don't have to have an arcade trackball.

How wrong.  PGA 2000 is NOT like golden tee.  I have the full version.  It's trueSwing, I think, is the best system out there.  It's all about skill, not power.  If you swing to hard you could wiff the ball or cause it to not go straight.  Same with moving the mouse, if you don't move it straight the ball won't go straight.  In order to do long straight shots you have to have a smooth, rythmic stroke, like you do in real golf.
Sprucemoose:
Tiger Woods runs really good with the trackball.  A Happs trackball is expensive to add to a cab, but well worth the money IMO.
