The shutdown application is mine.
"The Launcher" should work with any front end, but I havent tested it on all..
I'm also working on a new version, which will support vertical screens.
And since I am working on a rotating monitor, I am also modifying it to turn your front end according to the posistion the monitor is in on startup, and to display a vertical or horizontal shutdown skin also according to the position of your monitor on shutdown.
The above link is to the version that is for horizontal. However you can use it on vertical, like dazedyouth did, but the countdown number will be horizontal.
The modification I did for dazedyouth was add the option to assign a key to cancel shutdown and re-start the front end.

Welcome to the forums Dazedyouth.

Nice simple streamline design.
I'd like to hear more about that GLaunch pacman shutdown screen.
Did you tinker with the BIOS splash screens at all?

Cartercade Eh...
A fun by line could be "Can't wait ta handle it, handle it."
 ;D

I realize you young guys won't have a clue what that's all about, so try googling: "Mayor Teddy Burnside. Your mayor by a landslide."

I hate to answer for dazedyouth, but the shut down program is the one I wrote. Dazedyouth created the pacman screen himself.
I intend to include dazedyouth's pacman screen in my next upgrade of The Launcher.
If you want it, I can send you the one dazedyouth donated to be included.
go up two or three posts and see my link to "The Launcher".
It works with other frontends too, not just Glaunch.
Check it out, let me know what you think..
