Well,

My t molding and buttons arrived yesterday so I am back at it.

Currently, I am working on the top where the marquee and speakers are.  It
has been a major pain getting it all together, but I see light at the end of that tunnel.

I'll post some more pics this weekend.  I hope to have cab basically done with
the wiring/electronics hook ups left to do.

As a side note,  the vinyl I'm using is turning out nice,  but next time I'll stick
with formica.  Just easier to work with in my opinion

Some more pics.   The marquee portion is curved which has cause me all kinds of grief.
But, it turned out pretty good. I have the plexi in there, but nothing printed yet.

Was hoping to get the bottom portion covered in vinyl, but that also is going SLOWLY  :dizzy:

Lost out on the CPU I was biding for on EBAY

Oh well, any comments are always welcome.

Thought I'd post an update if anyone's interested......
Per usual everything took way longer to do than I figured it would :dizzy:

The bottom portion with the grills ...

The back of the bottom portion...

A test run with just the lumidisk and rainbow light working....

The main panel in place and sized (now comes the hard part!)

A peek inside so far.. excuse the mess :-)

A side view...

Not much progress, but this is where I'm at.

The marquee is just a temp one from my last project so I could see what it would look like in place.
Ignore the color of the buttons,  those will be changed later. I need to get some more red and black ones.
The area where the monitor will be looks mighty black at the moment, but I have some mirrored formica
I will be adding in to spice it up.

Since the thing has kind of a retro look and the 2 lumidisks look like car headlights to me,  my plan is
to give this thing a 50's classic car theme by adding some chrome emblems from a couple of classic cars
(57 chevy, or 55 T-Bird maybe.)

Given that, I need to come up with a name for this thing.  I'm drawing a blank at the moment.  Any suggestions for a name would be greatly appreciated.

til the next post .....

Hi All,
Back at it after a couple months off.    I have a real basic wiring question.

I have 2 Novagen buttons from GGG I want to light up.   I do not have
an LED Wiz ( seems like over kill for just 2 buttons.

Each has two wires.  One regular and one with a resistor on the end.
I'm  pretty sure I run a 5v line to the regular wire, but then where do the
resistor ended wires go?

Boy do I feel stupid!  :(

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm real close to finishing this thing.  It turned out pretty much as I planned (sort out)
I'll post a few pics after I mop up some final details.
