Hi All,
My arcade build ( http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=74861.0 ) went so well, that I've decide a jukebox will look real nice next to it. ;D I loaded up WinDOS Cab on my Sparcade box and liked it so much that
I think it needs a box to itself.
I have a pretty good idea in my head of what I want, but I do tend to work things out on the fly.
My plan is to buy the wood in the next couple days and have at it. I want to work in some LED lighting into this project so hopefully some of you can give advise, as the wiring side if things is my weak spot.
Got a rough list of want I need and I figure this is gonna run me about 400 bucks or so.

Before you buy that 17" monitor, go here: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=74097.0
It is a decased 15" touchscreen you can get shipped for $108. Didn't now if you were planning buttons cause touchscreens are so much. This is what you were planning on spending for a 17" with buttons, so its up to you. Otherwise keep it updated.

Hey Green Giant,
Thanks for the info... I'll definitely have a look. I like having buttons,
but really there's no reason I couldn't have both at that price ;D

Hi All,
Got side tracked by real world stuff for a couple weeks. I did however, come up with a "new"
idea to make this thing more functional for me.
New Plan:
This will still be a jukebox, but I also plan on making the bottom half resemble a guitar amp (Marshall?) so i can
integrate my Guitar Port device in.
Briefly, a guitarport is a USB device that allows you to plug in a guitar and get a wide range of amp and
box sounds. It also hooks into to software that allows recording. A nice unit which should complement the jukebox
nicely.
I image the thing will mainly be used as a jukebox, but would allow me to plug in and do some jamming :-)
The basic structure will stay the same, Just adding some inputs, buttons and touches :-)
With any luck I can start in the next few days. (Been too cold in the garage here in MI!)
