Broken QIX Cocktail Cab Worth $50?
« on: December 04, 2007, 01:59:31 pm »
I have an opportunity to purchase a broken QIX cocktail cabinet for $50 (possibly lower after bartering).  The seller does not know what is wrong with the cab.  Is it worth $50?

IMO, every cocktail machine is worth at least $50.  I paid that much for an empty galaga cab.

Unless the cab itself is trashed (water damage) you should get it.
If it's anywhere near minneapolis, I'd go get it from under you just for asking if it's worth it! ;D

LOL  You can never be too careful about these things.  It is in northern Indiana, that's all I will say in case someone close by is reading.   ;D

From the pictures the cab looks to be in excellent shape.  I may just have to go for it.

A wizard should know better.

Seriously though thats a great price for a cocktail cab.  Doesnt matter if its working or not the cost of building just the cab is around that price just keep in mind any cosmetic damage.
Back in MY day we lived on the moon and we had to build a rocket ship from scratch to get to the Earth before we suffocated.

Hell Yes!

Doesn't matter that it's Qix, which is a good game by the way, it's a cocktail!  You could put any number of great games in it just with the joystick alone for controls.
