Looking for a few excellent machines to demo at EDS in Las Vegas

Hi all, let me explain

My neighbor has been watching my progress with my Mame cab build and is impressed with how everything is coming together. He is a partner at an advertising company here in Chicago http://www.dhdchicago.com/ and is involved with the promotion of the Electronic Distribution Show coming up in May in Las Vegas.

The EDS is not a consumer show.... it is a manufacturers and distributor show for companies that make LEDs, boards, and other various new electronic components.

He thought it would be cool to have a few very blinged cabinets to have at the show for people to play. They are looking for 2 or 3 excellent examples of how some of today's technology is being retrofitted and Incorporated into some of your Mame cabs.

So if you a close to Vegas and would be interested in showing off your cab for a few days and making some easy money.

Please serious inquires only, PM me and I will forward his phone number along to you.

Try calling Craig at http://www.billiardsnmore.com/  in Vegas. Check there website for the phone number.

They may have what you are looking for, or know of someone local that has a nice machine.

I would make sure you bring proof that you own the roms in your machine as well.

Compensation was mentioned at $500.00. I don't know if that is firm or not.

Yeah, we talked about that whole issue before I posted, I explained the whole rom thing to him.

He's in advertising not law or copyright enforcement.

He feels that its more about the incorporation / fusion of old and new technology, and said that this is a really cool example of how hobbyists are using the latest technology.

$500 is nothing compared to having your butt hauled to jail for breaking copyright.  Odds are that the company who is organising the show will have a clause about that.

You can bump all week long, but I would be surprised to see anyone sticking their necks out for the trouble.

And your trouble too while we discussing it.   :laugh2:

Call these guys, they might rent you a machine for your booth:

Mountain Coin Machine Dist.
5675 S. Valley View
Las Vegas, NV 89118
Telephone: (702) 798-0900
Fax: (702) 798-8431

Tell them I sent ya.

$500 sounds right for a day or two.
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.
