4-player MAME cabinet complete!
« on: October 29, 2007, 08:53:06 am »
My 4-player MAME cabinet is complete. I didn't make a great many postings here, but got so much useful information from various old threads that I thought it necessary to say thanks to everyone who contributes to these forums.

It's a bit generic, it doesn't do anything special, but it's fairly sturdy, it's got a big screen and a really nice sound system. And most important of all, it is now my pride and joy (wife and baby excepted of course).

Screen looks a bit washed out in these shots but in fact it's very bright, guess that's the light in my garage - I'm no photographer.

Cheers!

Looks nice...bottom picture is missing Player 3 stick though but the top photo has it in place.

Looks great.  Nice job.

Looks like you may have enough wood left over to start working on the next one.  ;D

its not how generic it looks that matters, its how well it works that does.  You can always rice it out later with leds and everythign else.

looks great to me, you should be proud

Looks Great!  What are the specs?  Monitor size/type, Joysticks, Keyboard encoder for example...  Has anyone played on the 3rd and 4th player positions?  Is being perpendicular to the screen causing any problems?  Again, great looking cab :)
