Coverflow like with some extras!

So I really like coverflow and want to use for a jukebox project. The only problem with that is you can not a select  songs in fullscreen. I have found a program that is almost there called harmony. It just needs one or two more features and would be perfect for a touchscreen juke.

No it just needs .net 3.0. I am running it on my xp sp2 machine. It also automatically get album art.

What you need:
To run these labs, you'll need to install Microsoft's .NET3.0     Windows Vista, XP, or 2003.

and under below the link:

So it more a .NET 3.0 application.

And yes, you might only have read Windows Vista and .NET 3.0 for some reaseon, where they forget a /or here in the top on the site. A tiny error from thier side.

Otherwice. Personnly I do not have plans to use 3d in my own app, otherwice a nice lille app, but it does requiure .NET3.0 which can been a large download.

Well that is why i added the reflections it was part of my work on getting coverflow in a while ago. The only sticking point is skewing the images. I need a fast way of doing this so it is usable.... I couldn't figure out a fast way of doing it hence all we have right now are just the reflections. It's all just eye candy at the end of the day but damn nice eye candy. Most people select their jukebox software based on the look of the interface rather than the million and one functions it offers. Hopefully when i move onto the next version i will have made a breakthrough in getting something like this working.

I just want to tag some info on here for people like me who might find this somewhat older thread and try out Harmony.

• It can be run on WinXP, but requires .NET 3.0 which can be downloaded from MSoft
• It REQUIRES iTunes to work. 
• Additionally, it appears that it requires iTunes to be installed in a default directory.  I can not tell you if this is 100% accurate, because I could not get Harmony to work because I don't have iTunes installed on this computer.
• According to the webpage, it requires an additional download to playback .aac and .m4a files.   Again, I cannot confirm or deny how well that works.
• It also seems to have been around for a while without any changes.   I found a post from 2006 on digg (I think) which talked about it and the files inside the .zip file are from 2006

I just make these points because I was unclear on the whole thing when I downloaded it.  I couldn't figure out how to get it to work.  I couldn't figure out how to configure it.  I couldn't figure out how to point it to my iTunes directory on a networked drive etc.   Hopefully this will save some people the time and trouble of figuring out that stuff the hard way.

It looks cool and I'd like to see it, or something like it, as part of a jukebox or even standalone but so far I've had no luck.  If anybody has a video of it working, I'd like to see it in action.
