Quick Lightgun Question in Mame118 |

Just Updated my Cab from 111 to 118 and now I can't get my actlabs guns (pc usb versions) to work again... They were working fine in 111. What is the proper settings to go with under 118? thanks :) |

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I tried setting it to that, when i go into the in game controls to config the lightgun inputs i'm getting player ones controls ok (p1 analog x = mouse 2 x etc, ) but for player two I keep getting problems like (p2 analog x = mouse 2 & mouse 3 x) So while player 1 works ok, it also controls sight for player 2... The best I have gotten through playing with all the settings is really weird, player one moves p2's sight and fires p1's bullet at it while p2 moves p1's sight and fires p2's bullet at it. All this started with update to 118, Everything was fine in 111. I've temp gone back to 111 till I can figure out) |

In my mame ini I had to set the following to get my topguns to work correctly in 118 lightgun 1 lightgun_device lightgun Also make sure you don't set dual_lightgun 1. u_rebelscum helped me with that one. That is only for the older act lab guns |

Ok, I tried setting mame.ini as you said Brock. Here's exactly what it's doing: when I set: p1 button 1 = gun2 bo lightgun x analog = gun 1x, gun 2x for some reason it see's the 'x' or 'y' as gun 2 & gun 1 for p1 Now on player 2 it does this: p2 button 1 = gun3 bo p2 lightgun x analog = gun 1x, gun 3 x and for some odd reason it reports it as movement on gun 1 and gun 3 (there's only 2 guns attached) :banghead: |
