Please identify this sit-down racer ? => It's a Konami GT cockpit !
Level42:
Turned out that the adapter is NOT a Jamma adapter.....
I will have to manualy wire it up to a fingerboard or something to give it a test run.....hope I have some time for that this evening.
Level42:
Yi-ha it runs !!! :cheers:
Don't ask how, but I wired up a Galaxian to Jamma adapter to the Konami connector with just the video and power lines, just to see if it would start.
I connected it to my Jamma/Mame cab and nothing happened. Nothing, zilch. Then I realised that the PCB was not getting any power, because my Mame cab is of course powered by the PC supply.
So I wired up a Power Supply and, yes it runs !!!! (OK, upside down first, but that's just a dipswitch setting)....
Didn't try sound though, but I have no reason to believe that it won't work...
Nice :)
Level42:
Mmm, the DIP-switch that is supposed to toggle the flip-screen doesn't seem to work. Tried all DIP switches and none flips the picture :dizzy:
The initial test messages ARE displayed correctly so it must be the DIP not working properly. Maybe the water has damaged the DIP switches. Some others seem to work OK though. I'll try and measure some more.....anyway, nice to know the PCB is in working order...
Angry_Radish:
Well, worst case, you could do a yoke flip :-)
Congrats!
tikbalang:
