Yes, see above!!!!  Check chips, and connections.  Reseat everything and especially check the power cable.

Go into the test menu of the game and check to see if sound works there as well.

So close...

Oh, an I KNEW it could be a power supply problem, MKII is picky!

Sound does not work in the test menu but a diagnostic of the boards says it's ok

maybe adjust the power level back the other way perhaps the sound card isnt getting enough juice?

personally I'd check the power cord and the ribbon cable that goes from the main board to the sound board its most likely the problem if the voltage from the power supply is adequate.
