I stripped multiple layers from a Galaxian once. Right down to the bare wood. It took two days and a ton of paint stripper. Once stripped I just stained the bare wood (iw is plywood, not particle board). It came out excellent. It is almost too bad the only kit I had for the cabinet was Top Gunner (at least that was the only perfect kit, with the right control panel, marquee, monitor glass, and NOS sideart for that cabinet that I had).

If your just looking for a niced finished look without all the hassle, i'd just get a palm sander, smooth out the paint so it is smoot to the touch, and go get some contact paper at walmart or a craft store. I used the ever so popular black marble and it looks awsome. If your looking to paint it yourself again, your best bet is paint stripper or covering things in your house, and game and sanding it all off. personally contact paper worked for me!

That sounds alot easier then stripping all that paint. Too bad I cant just strip it down to the robotron artwork. :-\ Heh, I hear its there somewhere. Either way smoothing out the paint sounds better. Thanks!
