Which trackball sounds to be a better deal??
« on: July 06, 2007, 03:11:26 pm »
As I've never built an arcade before, I'm curious as to which deal sounds better?

Deal 1: $30
Lightly used 3" Betson that has relatively little wear for being a used pull.  Brand new refurb kit included (3 rollers, 6 bearings and a new trackball).

Deal 2: $9.95
3" Imperial and WICO 3" Trackball.  Both trackballs have been tested and work.

That's all the details I have right now.  I can ask the seller more questions, if I knew what to ask.  Anyone have any input??

At first blush I would go with the first deal.  You don't know the condition of the Trackballs in deal 2.  You can find deals like this over in the BST forum on this site. (Buy/Sell/Trade)
