What is this......
« on: April 29, 2003, 09:29:57 pm »
In the photo at the following site you will see a Zaxxon joystick.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3221612039&category=13718

I know the joystick has a trigger switch (not shown) but what is the little button on top of the joystick which is seen in the photo?  Is this indeed a button or some type of light?  If it is a light, what did Zaxxon use it for...I do not remember.

Thanks
UncleT

I seem to remember that being a little light.  I know it wasn't a button.

OK, it's a LED.   What type of wattage, volts or amperage (I obviously do not know stuff electrical stuff) should I connect to this joystick LEd to make it work when I press the trigger?  Can I connect the same 5V I use to light up my coin door light bulbs?

The ones on Super Zaxxon were red. That is probably where they came from.
