Yet another Tempest - Done!
Barry Barcrest:
Dude that's awsome, have you thought about running the PC Version of tempest on it? Seeing as you have XP installed already.
Paladin:
That would be awsome, but I've got the monitor mounted vertically and I don't think the PC version will rotate. Does anyone know if it's possible?
Barry Barcrest:
You can rotate the XP desktop so it shouldn't matter if the PC Software rotates. Most graphics card drivers support rotation. I just don't know how stretched it would look, still worth a try.
Barry Barcrest:
You could try running this one...

Windows and Linux.
rrcade:
Paladin, I PMd you but don't know if it went through, anyhow here's what I sent:
Hello I could really use your input. I did exactly what you did with my tempest even ordered the same optic boards, after playing with my mini pac wiring I finally got the tempest spinner to work. I have a couple questions, first my spinner controls my mouse pointer in a left to right pattern, is this correct or should it move it up and down? Second how do you select a game to play assuming you're using a frontend of some kind. Lastly what settings are you using in mame to reduce backspin?
My machine will be running a couple different Tempest games, tubes, and some Misfit Mame hacks, the frontend will be Maximus Arcadius and I would like to keep the controls stock and still be able to scroll through the few games and select them to play. Any advice on how you set up your machine would really be appreciated, I thought this was gonna be simple now I"m stuck.
Thanks a LOT
Jamie
