don't know where the equivalent points would be on the mad catz though.... I am investigating...

If nothing else you could pull 5v directly from the usb cable... you've just got to be careful not to pull too much power away from the pcb.

Donkbaca:
The problem with pulling straight from the USB is that it's a constant 5v, so the light is on as long as the controller is plugged in, even when the xbox is off

I don't think it does.

Donkbaca:
No, it does not. It does have headphone support. I'll poke around those when I finally get a multimeter

Hi all,

This my first post so go easy on me :)

I am thinking of making an Xbox 2 player panel with wireless pads for use on fighting games:

Mortal Kombat 9, Super Street Fighter 4 & Marvel Vs Capcom. My woodworking skills are awful but I will give it a go.

I have a few questions:

1. Can all the buttons on an XBox controller be rigged up to arcade controls?

2. Where would you put the guide and sync buttons?

3. What types of arcade buttons/ sticks work best with the hacked pads? Sanwa, cherry switch.

Many thanks for your help

Mark
