OK, I'm gonna be trying this but I've got a few noob questions.
I'm going to use a circuit board from an official wired xbox360 pad, a seimetsu ls-32-01 stick and sanwa RG buttons (for SF4 of course!).
So,
1. you made me a bit nervous with the disclaimer stuff about not being responsible if i blow up my console, is that actually likely/possible? What would cause it?
2. if i open up the pad and i find it has a common ground, i don't bother with the black wires in your original photos right? instead I just solder a wire to 1 of the common ground points and solder the other end to... what? how does pressing the buttons complete the circuit and input a command if there's only 1 wire attached to each of them?
3. i'd like to be able to include the triggers but i'm not sure if thats maybe too ambitious, is it just a case of soldering a 10k resistor to the trigger point and then a wire from that to the RG or is it more complicated than that? Am i gonna kill my 360 if i do it wrong?
4. what's all this talk of transistors?
as you can tell, i'm complete beginner so sorry if they're stupid questions but any help in simple language will be much appreciated
thanks
