northerngames:
custom control panel it is 42" wide X 15-1/2" built with:
3/4" MDF laminated in countertop formica and routered out.
2 joysticks that are the happ super joys
all buttons are happ concave pushbuttons
trackball is a 3" happ highball with a happ mounting plate
2 4PDT toggle switchs
2 dreamcast controller pcbs loaded with 4 VMU's
2 dreamcast controller extension cables
1 Db-25 switch box
3 radio shack project box's
chrome 3/4" T-molding
GGG optiwiz
Ultimarc mini-pac
this set-up allows me to select from dreamcast controls to minpac/pc controls by flipping the switch on the DB-25 switch box.
the 4PDT switch's mounted above each joystick are for the dreamcast to switch between digital D-pad and Anaolog thumbstick by moving the toggle left or right I used rubber washers as the dust covers but still looking for plastic like the joys have..
originaly I did it with D-pad function only but was missing out on alot of good DC games so I installed the 4PDT's so I can swap from analog to digital so now everything can be played with ease and convience on the dreamcast.
the dreamcast controller extension cabels run to the dreamcast 3-4 player slot on the console so if I have a 3rd-4rth player they can plug in under the CP or I can unplug the player 1-2 from the cp at the console and plug in the controller extension's in there place and plug in some light guns or the fishing pole's from the bottom of the CP.
everything has quik disconnects and is plug and play by homemade db-25's and ps2 cords so I can pull the control panel top and swap it out with another with no effort and no time with no tools needed.
now I just need some artwork and possibly a GGG USB spinner since they mount like a button and are simialar in size.

Well my 1st build cab is now on the great big scrap heap in the sky (well actually it is in limbo after having its guts ripped out but its on its way) but I can least pay a little homage to it by posting a picture here:
2x Ultimarc T-Sticks
2x Happ Rotaries with custom turned alluminum joysticks and stainless steel dustwashers.
