I need to find a dealer who can sell me the correct chip for stephan hans keyboard splitter circuit. any online places? i tried newark, but i didnt find the part. any part number?

I am not really sure about the statistics of the chip. here is the page, if you can understand what they are that would help. i am not very good at wiring yet.

Have you looked for a HCF 4053? There are also similar types available with different letter in front of the "4053", 74HCT4053 should work also I guess.
Expect the price to be under 50 cent for one chip!

I built that circuit a couple of years ago I bought all the
parts at Radio $hack . I popped the cover on my splitter and the chip has a number of NTE4053b

Ok i searched a couple of sites, and i think i found what i need. i went to mouser.com and i just wanted to know if this chip will work. the number is 512-CD4053BCN. also for the t1 and t3 transistors, will this one from mouser work? 610-2N3904. it said on the page that bipolar transistors will work. that page is
