Since I don't see myself going out and buying each and every dual monitor card...I'll have to rely heavily on your feedback to get it working on your specific card.

I completely understand about buying cards.  I would like to help you get nvidia cards working if possible.  When you have the time to work on this email me directly.  I am registered VJ owner Jim Kennedy.

Later today I will do some more testing and see if changing different options in the nvidia drivers (nview) will have any effect on VJ.

Any idea why songs don't play in beta 4 for me?  Is there some more info I can send you to help?

VMJ Team:
I think I found out why the songs aren't playing...I updated my Windows Media player with the current version and I'm experiencing the same...try reverting back to the older msdxm.ocx file or reinstalling VMJ from the setup program...

I just tried VJB with two seperate video cards. The main one is a generic AGP card supplied by Dell. The second one is a Radeon 7200 PCI card (Which also has S-Video out)
The Video's play great (with sound). But... now none of the Mp3's play. They queue up but the track duration counter doesn't move. Sooooo close. Also depending on the resolution I use on the second screen gives me choppyness(New word) in the video. Get the bugs out and WOW.
I also would be more than happy to test any setup with the equipment I have. (P.S. tried mulitple OCX versions)(no change)

VMJ Team:
It appears that alot of people have been reporting the same problem (sound not playing)...so far, the only thing I can link together, is that everyone experiencing this problem has ripped their mp3 at a bitrate higher than 128 kbps...if this is the case...unfortunately, Windows Media player control is to blame and I cannot do anything (I plan on changing to another control very soon , maybe even this weekend)...if the tracks are 128 kbps and still do not play...if I can get ahold of one of the mp3 files to try to duplicate it...all of my tracks play and I can't duplicate the problem.

The choppyness (new word) may be attributed to the card...I believe the 7200 is a 32 meg card (could be wrong)....videos play very smooth on my second monitor and I'm using a 64 meg card....again, videos are currently being played through the windows media player...this will change soo as well.

I'll try to impliment a new audio/video control this weekend...or very soon!

DJ Gary-N:
Ya The Radeon card is 32MB. But 90% of my songs are 128 kbps. I don't notice a big change in anything higher and they would take up more hard drive space. Even after removing the Radeon card. and unslecting dual monitor mode.  mp3s still won't play on 4.0
How about Active Movie Player?
