Opti-pac buttons
« on: August 20, 2006, 10:35:15 pm »
Quick question: if I'm not using the player two trackball or spinner on my Opti-pac, can I use the left and right buttons? I mean, can I map them to be what I want? I need two more button connections for my CP, and they're right there....

Can the ground for the opti-pac and ipac connect together?

Yup, ground is ground-it all goes back to the same place eventually!

Personally, I'd seperate them, but only because it makes potential future troubleshooting easier, but, assuming no wiring faults, it will work fine wired together.

Well, I was thinking about sharing buttons, maybe have them set as ipac buttons as well. Thanks for the info!
