Wow, a time I will stand up for snaaake!
Rasher, you took what I said out of context.  Hell, I wouldn't hand draw spiderman!!
The point of my post was to show everyone this isn't that hard to do.

Here's what 5 minutes of my time produced.  Yeah, I should have worked on adjusting the blending of the background where they overlay but I don't have much time to waste today :)

errr..okay thats nice  :)
That is exactly what my point was too..I wouldn'y hand draw spiderman then print that out and use it as overlay..
It cost money..I never did any overlay because I felt like doin it..somone IS goin to print this..it costs around $40 for a decent size print and DO YOU REALLY EXPECT ME TO HANDDRAW SPIDERMAN THEN USE THAT AS OVERLAY Rasher?

GET A GRIP !  :P

AND GROW UP ! !  :P

I or anyone else dont have $40 to waste just like that so I can make you happy Rasher with my own hand drawn spiderman !  :P.

 :-XOkay I should stop :-X

PS:Sirpoonga, totally understand your point. Its not that hard to do but I takes time if you do something decent. :)

Really, everyone should sloooow dooown! I am awfully sorry for creating this flame war by asking Snaake to create an overlay for me. I think everyone fully understands where the images are taken from. Snaake never claimed credit for drawing anything. He has stated his characters come from Gamegen.

Heres the deal. I am in the process of building my cabinet. I really dont have the time or the energy to learn Photoshop to do an overlay for myself. I saw Snaakes overlay that he posted and I liked it. I asked him to do one for me. Something I couldnt do for myself. I appreciate what he made for me and the time he took to do it for a stranger. Waddaguy, huh?

Sorry that it doesnt meet some of the ART CRITIC'S standards of complexity, but I and my friends will enjoy it on my cab. Nuff...

TOOT TOOT TOOT !!!  (since eveyone else is doing it, I figured I would blow my own horn as well)

Right, like I said, above it just 5 minutes of time but still is a little more involved than your spiderman/venom one.
For the benefit of everyone:
extracting pacman and the ghost from the cocktail graphics isn't hard in photoshop, the extract tool rules!
The background is just two screenshots I took while playing the game.  I blurred them, set some blending options for the layers.  I should spend mroe time to perfect it as where the two images overlap needs work.  Then making a straightline of dots in photoshop is easy.  Just select the brush tool, moodify how it draws by increasing the spacing.  Hold shift while drawing to draw a straight line.  Dots automatically made because of the spacing of the brush.
Hehe, photoshop rules.

Actually, it's just rasher with the flame.

BTW, www.photoshopcafe.com had good beginners tutorials.  Then you can go to their forum to get more tutorials.
