Hudson187,

This may not be what you are looking for but I just cut 2 pieces of dowel and drilled holes to fit. The guns just rest on the dowel using the triger and the back of the gun. Pictures can be seen on my blog :

www.buks01.blogspot.com

Checkout the section titled "New lightguns in place" and click on the picture of the gun to get a bigger picture.

hope this helps.

Simple but effective idea.

May I ask why you put the LED-bars verticaly instead of horizontaly ?

I do like that idea, but I was looking for something more along the lines of a plastic holster like something from an actual arcade game. Ive been searching ebay and various websites but still no luck.

Onji, Can you make out what that is? It looks like a plasitc fence for gardening  ;D . That seems to be the idea of what I was looking for... I might take a ride to ToysRus and see what they have for kids guns; maybe they come with a holster or something.

Level42 - The led bars are supposed to be vertical ! Even if you can put them horizontally (which you may be able to do) I prefer them vertically.

Hope that helps !

The closer the bars are together, the closer you can be to the bars. Most people didn't like the distance that they had to stand back from the screen for proper accuracy, so many people on this board mounted the bars horizontally so that they could be closer to the screen. I haven't seen any complaint about it yet.

If they are mounted horizontally is one above the screen and one below or are they on top of each other ?

I'll try an ascii drawing :

One above and one below. Same as if you mounted them vertically.

Cheers for the answers horseboy and darthbane2k.

I think the bottom led strip would not quite fit on my setup anyway as the base of the TV is pretty flush with the bottom of the bezel.

@ Darthbane2k - that has got to be the single coolest looking holster I've seen for the LCD Topgun.  Cheers to you!

Now, if I could only FIND that cyclist's drinking set on the Toys 'R Us site!  I'm wondering if they may have discontinued it?  That would be tragic..
