Centipede scan scribbles?
« on: May 01, 2006, 03:41:03 pm »
This may fall under monitor, but I will start here.
when I am playing my Centipede, sometimes really faintly I will get a blue scribble that races across the screen. Back and forth and it seems to change speed based on what is on the screen. It is faint enough that it does not effect game play but it is there. Any idea how to get rid of this? I do not want to turn blue down as the colors are curently correct.

It is more than that. It's a chip about to fail in the board.

Download the schematics and talk to some people on the RGVAC and they can help.  Do a little research before you do that to make sure somebody hasn't answered that before, because I think they have.

Those boards are pretty easy to fix.
