Direct is fine for what you're doing, once your wires are soldered on you won't ever have to change them. |

I had a kick harness in my cab (using a jpac) and I just cut it off and stripped the wires back a little and put them in the screw terminals of the JPAC. (They are labeled pretty good... P1B4, P1B5, etc) I cut the wires a few inches away from the harness, just in case I decided to put a jamma board back in the cab, I could always solder the wires back to the harness. Whole deal only took me a few minutes. Just hav a VOM ready to tone out the buttons to the harness wires. -Stobe |
