alright, so i finally have everything up and running perfectly. My PC2arcade machine works great after many hours of adjustments and replacing a ipac with a jpac and that same jpac with another jpac(there was something wrong with a chip although Andy was great help as is usual). So, now a new question. How exactly would i get all 6 buttons to function on my machine with my jpac? Currently through the JAMMA connector there are only the standard 3 on each player working. I understand i would have to wire to the screw terminals on the jpac, however here is my problem. when i bought my arcade machine it was already set-up for 6 player support for the marvel vs capcom 2 game already in it. I of course want to keep support for this game and any other JAMMA games i might buy. Exactly what would i Need to keep the jamma wire configuration while still being able to play full 6 button support with my mame games? many thanks for any help David |

I'm guessing that your MvC2 machine has a small extra harness for the 6 extra buttons? These are sometimes called a 'Kick Harness', since they were used to add the kick buttons in SF2. If it does, you could buy a JAMMA fingerboard, cut it to size so it fits your kick harness, then wire your fingerboard to the extra JPac connections. |
