meant for car lights, but they are 12v and wedge based so should fit right in a switch lamp holder

Been done for coin doors
, might be hard to light buttons with 'em (due to mounting space required.)

If you are talking about happs illuminated pushbuttons, then yes, I have used them and they work great.
