Oscar optic board question
« on: December 21, 2005, 08:23:20 am »
I believe I have killed the optic board on my Vortex.   :-[  When I meter the input voltage, it's fine (4.94vdc), but when I meter the outputs from the sensors, I also get 4.94, and it doesn't change when the beam is broken.  I DID drop the thing a few days ago.  Is it possible that the impact could have damaged the sensors and shorted them out?  (BTW, no traces broken, etc.)  I wouldn't even bother to ask except it seems like I can't currently get a replacement board...

It does kinda sound like you destroyed the board.
